Good solid point.
Its the little things that bring you back to who you are. What feeds one persons soul may not feed another persons soul. We are all unique and we all have our vices.
Right now, I am writing to you on my iPhone from a local bar listening to my friends band play. I like being surrounded by people, listening to good music & seeing my friends. For me, this is food. Its a snack for my soul. Its something I enjoy.
Food for the soul can be anything from reading a good book to sitting in a bar. It can be tanning in a tanning bed or it can be deep conversations with a trusted friend.
Your soul is a part of you and you are your soul. Whatever makes you happy in a healthy and constructive way is what you need to be who you are. The moment you stop feeding your soul you starve! Starvation is not kind!
If you stay true to yourself, love yourself, treat yourself with kindness & listen to yourself you will understand yourself and all of these things in combination together will make you a better person for yourself and others.
A soul less stirred is a life less lived. We have one life. We have one chance. Choose happy and choose you. Why would you want to live any other way?
Apple reported sales of $55 billion for its fourth-quarter, and a profit of $13 billion.
That’s THIRTEEN BILLION. $13,078,000,000, to be more precise. It’s the second-highest quarterly profit in U.S. history.
As Tim Cook pointed out on Apple’s conference call, the company sold 10 iOS devices per second last quarter.
So, you’d think Wall Street would be like this:
Here’s how investors actually reacted:
Apple shares are down 11% after-hours. Tomorrow’s opening trade will probably be gruesome.
Now, to be fair, investors have legit concerns that Apple’s growth is slowing. Apple’s margins are shrinking, and there’s no sign yet of a new, next magical “it will sell ZILLIONS” device on the horizon.
But still. I find it astonishing that profit of THIRTEEN BILLION can be considered a total disaster. -StacyPerfect synopsis. Especially the cats.
